Six years ago to the day, Lindsey Graham tweeted,

if we nominate Trump, we will get destroyed,

and we will deserve it.

Well, the rest of us are still waiting.

We're still waiting for the accountability.

We are still waiting for

the awful reckoning that this country needed

and has needed since the South lost the Civil War.

Today, or last night, rather,

an opinion was leaked in which Justice Samuel Alito

essentially made it very clear that Roe v. Wade is over.

The Settle Law of the Land for 50 years

has been eviscerated.

Today, I know it hasn't gone into effect yet,

because again, the document was leaked,

changes might be made,

but the language in this document is so extreme.

The cases Alito sites are so terrifying.

The language he uses to describe abortion providers

is so loaded and fraught and dangerous

that I don't actually have any hope that any changes

that are made will be at all significant.
