Hello. So today we'll be talking about anti-semitism in labor, the paraglider girls, and the problem with Park Run.

So the Labour Party's anti-Semitism scandal has come roaring back. There have been two

candidates, two parliamentary candidates suspended this week. Most importantly,

Azar Ali who was due to represent them in the Rochdale by election later this month.

Tom do you want to tell us a little bit about this because he was caught spreading a really vicious anti-Semitic conspiracy theory?

Well yes indeed in a way it was the worst thing that he said that set off this whole

kind of scandal so this story began when these comments that he made in this private meeting

where other labor figures we don't know how many were present

where he repeated as you say this anti-Semitic anti-Israel conspiracy theory to say that

essentially the Israeli government were forewarned about the 7th of October attacks and they let it happen so it's have to a pretext to invade and to destroy Gaza.

So this started to rumble on for a couple of days it got into this absurd situation in which

Kiastarma was effectively saying he's apologized for it but he's a good guy and we're

going to stand by him but that quickly became untenable when recordings of the meeting were revealed by the mail on Sunday,

and which had also found that he'd made this second comment, which was to say that Jewish sections of the press have been making a lot of hay out of the Israel issue and

it also later implicated the second MP Graham Jones who might get on to has now been removed

as a candidate the next election.

So this is obviously being framed and we're talking about it here as a question about

labor anti-Semitism.
