Summary

In today's episode, Emily is kindly reminding you to recharge your battery. We are all energy. However, if we are constantly giving our energy away without recharging ourselves, we won't be operating at our best. It's so important to recognize when you start to give more energy than you're really even able to because that can cause unnecessary stress in your life. You must fill your cup back up after pouring into others. When you pour from a full cup, things are so much more enjoyable and easy. Sometimes it's just 10 minutes sitting in the sunlight. Maybe it's half on hour of reading. Whatever energizes your soul, do more of that. Seek to create a balance between our input and output. Identify where in your life you can receive more input in order to be the best version of you and recharge your battery. That's today's message.

today's message. Recharge your battery. We all have a certain amount of energy inside of us

every single day. We are energy. Yet if we spend time giving and giving and giving,

0:39.9

outpouring everything that we have and we never take time to receive and to pour back into

0:45.6

ourselves, then we will be operating from way less than our best. It won't even be close

0:51.7

to our best. So it's really important to recognize when in your

0:55.4

life you are in a habit and in a pattern of outpouring everything that you have and not taking

1:01.7

time to recharge, not taking time to give back to yourself. I think we all know what that feels like.

It's when you feel overworked, overwhelmed, you feel like you have nothing

1:11.8

else to give, and everything feels so much harder and so much more stressful than it actually is.

1:18.3

And if you would just take time to recharge your battery to pour into yourself, you would realize

1:23.4

that when you come from a recharged place, when you come from a full cup, it doesn't feel so hard.

1:30.7

It doesn't feel so stagnant. It doesn't feel so stressful and overwhelmed.

They think they should check off the next thing on their to-do list.

They sometimes feel

bad for spending time to sit and be outside in nature and do nothing for 10 minutes. They feel like

they should be doing the next chore or the next thing for their business when in reality, even if it's

1:57.7

just 10 minutes, sometimes those 10 minutes will make all the difference in the world

and it will allow you to show back up to your business or the house or your family in such a better
