Summary

Have you ever labeled yourself as a "bad meditator"? Maybe you get really distracted or maybe you fall asleep while meditating.

I know a lot of people that really want the benefits of meditation but they aren't able to stick with the habit for one reason or another and I've got good news for you my friends....things are about to change with some exciting new technology!

Today I'm tagging in my friend Ariel Garten to tell us about some brand new meditation and mindfulness technology called Muse. Muse is the brain sensing headband that gives you real time feedback so you see what's going on in your mind while you meditate therefore allowing you learn how to truly achieve a deep state of focus and increase mindfulness.

Muse is used by researchers and clinicians at over 100 hospitals and universities all over the world including Harvard, NASA, MIT, and Mayo Clinic, as well as by famous athletes such as tennis star Novak Djokovic. She's been featured multiple times on CNN, Forbes, Fortune, and her TED talk has over 400,000 views.

I've been using my Muse headband for a few months and I absolutely love it. The app is easy to use and the feedback you get is truly fascinating!

Listen in as Ariel and I discuss:

  • How this technology was discovered.
  • Who should be using this technology.
  • Comparing Muse meditation to other methods of guided meditation.
  • Some quick tips on how we all can maximize the benefits from a meditation practice.

Here is how you can connect with Ariel and get more info on the Muse technology:
