Polygamy between consenting adults is a different sort of ethical question.

Problem with it being illegal is that those plural wives have no rights.

Mormonism but something I've been doing recently as you guys know I've long

talked about cults and religions and extreme religions and talked to defectors. So people obviously who have one side of the story, a story I

very much tend to agree with. I don't much like the idea of cults and extreme religions, but recently I've taken to talking to some people who are still in those communities or sects.

That includes Katie Lohmann the Scientologist who believes that Tom

Cruz visited her to recruit her in a dream. Then there was Sarah Brown, the

Black Hasidic Jewish woman who came to meet me in London to do that episode.

That was fascinating to hear her thoughts about.

And then today it is a current, not an ex, a current Mormon who goes by Nemo the Mormon.

And he also came down to London to meet and he's a lovely lovely man.

about that which is what sort of sparked my interest in a lot of this about British

Mormonism and he is

explains a lot about how there's actually a long and rich history of Mormons in the UK.

And he is still a Mormon, but he is very critical of some of the abuses we're talking financial as well as

sexual of the upper echelons which to be fair you know you find in most cults and religions obviously whether Mormonism can be described as a cult or religion is open to interpretation where if we I mean if you look at the extreme ends I think of any religion
