Obviously the last few months people have seen it's got a bit cult heavy and there still will

be lots of cults. Scientology in particular, I know people like that stuff.

It gets a lot of clicks and listens and views on YouTube

and all that stuff.

But this is the On The Edge podcast.

So I need to keep things edgy and different and moving around

and unpredictable and whatever it might be and Buck Angel was a perfect opportunity to dip my

toe back into the edgy waters so to so to speak I suppose and

Buck was born a woman but looks you know unbelievably like a man and I just think that's incredible.

The science and everything behind a lot of the transitions I think is incredible,

it's incredible that testosterone makes him grow a beard and it's also a huge effort and I

think that's the point of buck makes is like you know he knew he waited decades

that that was what he wanted and that was going to make him happy and he's just a little bit cautious I think of people who make that decision lightly and and so he should be I think you know these these are huge decisions to make for often very young people

buck is a nuanced view because I know this is such a sensitive topic the culture wars

it's about more than trans ideology or

or whether someone's transphobic and things like that I think it's about a lot more

than that it's about a it's about a division in a line between two different warring factions and how they believe or how
