Kelty is a life coach who helps individuals and couples navigate one of the hardest decisions

they'll ever face, whether to have kids or live child free.

After spending years as a fend sitter herself before ultimately choosing a child free life

for their husband of 17 years.

She turned her personal journey into a coaching practice and podcast dedicated to helping others get

clear on what they actually want. Today you're going to hear Kelty share why the advice that you'll

just know is actually harmful and what it means to be ambivalent about having kids versus not wanting

them. We get into how to approach the decision and the conversation with the partner when

one of you is unsure or both of you is unsure or you're just not on the same side of the conversation.

We also talk about the kids question in dating specifically, like when to break it up, what to put on your profile and why both people in a couple need to be willing to compromise even when it's not a perfectly equal situation. And I found that so interesting. Plus, at the end, we tackle a dating dilemma from a listener who found a stable, kind, emotionally safe
