Start with the end in mind. Define what success looks like. How does it feel? Like, what's your

perfect day feel like? And like, what do you want your life to really look like and feel like

in five, 10 years? Really define what that looks like and feels like. And then work backwards and

say, okay, to get there in 10 years, I need to add a thousand dollars a month in passive income each year.

How many properties do I need to add $1,000 a month?

So if it's $2.50 per property, then I need to buy four properties per year.

for a couple of reasons. One was that we had the

exact same goal with real estate investing when I first started was having a $10,000 per month

income. And I always wondered, how do you do that? And I actually wrote a lot about that on my blog.

My book, Retire Early with Real Estate was showing that way you build wealth and how do you

create this income stream over time.

And Kyle does an excellent job on his website, but also in this interview of documenting how he's doing it, of running the numbers. He actually has an ongoing spreadsheet on his site,

showing how much income he has. He's not quite to that $10,000 per month income level consistently.
