Jessie Cruckshank, the Canadian comedian and host of the number one comedy podcast,

Phone A Friend, recently took the stage at Lane University in Boca Raton as the host for our major event featuring Leslie Odom Jr. The evening was everything we could have asked for and more. We laughed, we cried, we learned, we were inspired, and we came together as a community, and honestly it was one of the most special nights of our lives. During this special episode with Jessie, she dives into her multifaceted career and the unfiltered truth of motherhood. When your little kid tells you they want to go to theater school, you know, not all parents would be as supportive. No, they would be worried. have full butterflies in my stomach before I go out. I am desperately like dreaming of the moment when I can rip out my hair extensions and peel off my eyelashes in my dressing room. I'm doing the thing I love and yet I want it to be over and And that is that's it. Yeah. And it's not a negative.

I feel everybody feels that.

And let's just feel crazy forever. I was going to say, I know I never think about it being over. But the butterflies in the stomach, I think, is normal and natural for anyone.
