Now last week we talked about resolution proof in your budget in the sense that you don't go for perfection, you go for consistency.

Another great idea in sticking with your new years resolution is to start your budget over as much as you need to just as much as you

absolutely need to in order to get it not right to just be doing it

consistently when you want to start your budget over maybe you want don't want to start just be doing it consistently.

When you want to start your budget over, maybe you don't want to start everything

over, we built in a feature because we know how critical it is that people should start

over.

So you just go up to the top left and you choose make a

fresh start. That way it keeps all your categories the same, keeps your

accounts the same, but you have a blank slate you can then adjust categories,

set them up however you'd like, and just have

that blank slate.

You also have a big pile of money there and you have to reassign all of that money to different jobs and that's a good

exercise when starting over in really thinking through your priorities what

are the jobs your dollars need to do? What do you truly care about?

So as starting over quitting, no quite the contrary.

Starting over is starting.

And that is exactly what you need to do again and again.

Until it just becomes habit.
