Hello and welcome to mini episode 255 of Real Life Ghost Stories and I have two spooky

stories for you today and the last story comes from January 10th, 2023 and story number

one comes from Anonymous. You know how kids are creepy and sometimes you just want

to dropkick them down the stairs. Well I'm pretty sure that I was that creepy kid.

I remember always being scared of stuff that no one else thought was there and I remember

telling my parents I was scared of my room and scared of the dark because I would see

people in my room. The worst part of it was I thought I was seeing my dad's brother

who I'm going to call John for this story. John died before I was born and the twin

beds in my bedroom as a kid were the same ones that my dad and John used when they were

young. As a kid I was terrified but I can't imagine how my dad felt with his own child

saying he saw his dead brother and was scared. On top of that my favorite story growing

up was the headless horseman. I later found out that John was run over by a train and

likely to capitated. I'm not sure if I had that connection with the story of the headless

horseman because of John and some connection I had to him or if it was just a weird coincidence.

As far as what I saw in the room I luckily don't remember seeing any faces but I do remember

telling my parents that sometimes I saw a man hovering above my bed. Sometimes I saw

him standing at the end of the bed. We also had a two story deck whose top level was

even with my bedroom and I could see the deck just a few feet away from my window. I

do remember several nights seeing men on the deck and hearing loud screaming, heavy

boots running, bright lights flaring through the night, loud sounds that almost sounded

like artillery and gunshots going off. I thought I made it all up as a kid and just
