review this week, our film review is The Deep House. The Deep House was released in 2021

at 5.3 out of 10 on IMDB and 74% on Rotten Tomatoes. Deep below the surface of a seemingly tranquil

remote lake lies a perfectly preserved family home. When a young influencer couple sets out to

explore the submerged house to capture uncharted content for their social media followers,

their dive turns into a nightmare as they discover a sinister presence. With limited oxygen

supply and time running against them, the couple must find a way to escape the underwater house

before it's too late. Now I'm going to level with you here. There's going to be spoilers and the

likes column is remarkably small. I mean there's one thing that I liked in the like column for this

story. And that is that it was a good concept for a film I suppose. That's literally whatever

it is. It's a good concept for a film and then in brackets I suppose. I guess I like when films

these days embrace kind of YouTube and social media culture. I enjoy it and the lengths that people

will go to in order to kind of try and create good content and to try and chase that virality.

I think when it's done well it can be really really good. Like that film was at Hell House LLC

or was a Grave Encounters. One of them where they were doing kind of like a ghost adventure style

mockumentary type film that ended up being genuinely really good. There was also that film that I

watched recently where the YouTubers go to a little remote village and they are there for some
