Hello and welcome to many episode 256 of Real Life Go Stories.

I believe we either go to heaven or hell when we die.

Anything else we experience in this world is deception by Satan's demons.

I guess it makes me a slight hypocrite because even though I don't believe in it, I've

always been interested in the paranormal.

Even from a young age I would always watch ghost hunting shows and now as an adult I

listen to ghost story podcasts.

Despite not directly believing I would never discredit someone's paranormal experience

because no matter the cause of it, I know that the emotions these experiences bring are

absolutely real and can leave lasting memories.

I know this because I had an experience that I've never forgotten.

I was very close to my maternal grandfather.

He always told me I was his favourite grandchild.

Of course he could have told this to all of his grandchildren but I can't help but feel

like we always had a special connection.

I remember the day he died as if it were yesterday.

He had been sick with pneumonia for a while and he was finally at his end.

My parents went to be with him as he passed and left me and my brother with my paternal

grandmother.

They didn't tell us why they were going but I knew that if my dad was going with my

mom to the nursing home then grandpa was probably dying.

A few hours later my brother and I were laying on opposite couches in my grandmother's living
