sometimes people ask me what I like about recording this podcast, and I usually tell them that I love

that I get to keep learning right

alongside you.

You know, every guest teaches me more about how to live out God's truth in real-life

situations and relationships.

And this week's guest is no exception, my friend Dawn Jones.

Dawn and I met at a leadership conference, and we soon discovered that we have the same

passion to help others heal from painful sexual experiences and to move forward with sexual integrity.

Now, while we both have found the courage to speak on the controversial issues around sexuality, Don also tackles the difficult topics related to racism in America and in our churches. And so I'm

really excited for you to hear what she has to share. We're going to talk about why we need

to address the pain and trauma that can contribute to our sexual choices. We'll talk about

how the conversation around sexuality is different in the African American community than it is in the

mainstream white community and how we can be more sensitive and open and brave in our pursuit

to understand one another and to grow together as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Reclame Conference on October 4th and 5th in Akron, Ohio.
