0:59.3	Hello, hello and welcome to the latest episode of Black Girls Heel. I hope that you're doing well and thriving wherever you are, however you are, and in all of your relationship.
1:04.4	Today we are talking about something that is very important and
1:09.2	something that I feel affects so many of the women that I serve and it is financial codependency.
1:15.9	I want to talk more about it after the job but basically it is a pattern where you have
1:21.1	a coddependent relationship with caretaking for other people financially, even
1:25.8	when it puts you in harm's way, mentally, emotionally, of course financially and causes
1:31.8	undue strain.
1:33.4	And you have a really unhealthy balance
1:36.3	with the ability to say no with this obligated feeling
1:39.8	that you have to be the person that's available
1:42.3	to take care of other people's needs,
1:44.4	otherwise it means something negative about you. And so you actually have an addictive cycle
1:50.4	when it comes to rescuing other people and not taking care of yourself.
