Yeah, I live in Jersey.

I live like 15 minutes from the facility.

Oh, that's nice. Yeah, it's convenient. So you guys had a big game this weekend. Um, you made sure to beat Chicago and now you're going to have your first home playoff game. That's really exciting. Can you tell us a little bit about that? Yeah, I mean, it's incredible. I think, you know, I think the standards and the expectations of this group are so high that sometimes we win and we don't celebrate. So sometimes we have to like take a second and like really recognize what we're doing. And yeah, I mean, you guys have been around a bit like this came from sky blue, you know, playing at wreckers and, you know, not really being on the map

to winning a championship next year and chasing another one. And yeah, having a home playoff

game is just huge for us. And it's a big step. And it is like worth celebrating for sure.

Yeah. It's so exciting to see how far you guys have come and just like the feel of the team,

everything that you guys represent. And I feel like because we're from New York, it's such a proud moment to see everything that you guys have been doing. So we're so proud of you, you all. It's really cool. And to just put New York and New Jersey on the map is just like incredible. And I'm sure you love being playing being playing back home. Yeah. Yeah. I mean,

obviously I've been everywhere in my career like domestically, internationally and like

coming home was so special for me and, you know, really representing this city, you know,

or these areas, you know, like that even though there's like, you know, people from everywhere,

I really think it's actually part of how we play, part of how we approach things, you know, whether we're the favorites or not, we kind of always have a chip on our shoulder and like work ethic and, you know, just grinding results out sometimes is part of our identity. And that's, you know, for me being from this place, I've always tried to take that where I've been. And now, you know, to represent it is is really special.

Yeah, I think it was, was it in Portland when we first met you? I don't know. We've been,

we've all been around for a while, but it's pretty cool to see, you know, all the places that

you've played and all the success you've had. How do you feel that the league has grown since you, you were in the first season, right? Of the end of the house? Sure was. Yeah. I mean, it's, it's honestly incredible. Like, I think, you know, there's a lot of veterans on our team, actually, and we feel like grandmothers, but we're like back, you know, back in our day, back in 2013, you know, like just trying to keep perspective because obviously we still want to grow more. We still have more work to do, but we have come so far. And, you know, I tell some of the girls in my team, every time we travel to a market, I feel like I've lived seven lives in that market, you know, and like where I've been and who I was then and what the status of the league was. You know, we go to Kansas City now we're playing in, you know, and like where I've been and who I was then and what the status of the

league was. You know, we go to Kansas City now. We're playing in, you know, in all women's professional stadium. It's like this incredible environment. You know, I played a playoff game there for Portland where it was 126 degrees on turf. Our cleats were melting and there's 10 people in the stands. You know, like just the juxtaposition.

You feel it every time we travel, you know, every game day, even in the day to day, you know,

like the resources we have and stuff. So I mean, for me, it's just constantly rewarding and really,

really special. And yeah, just the perspective of where we've gone and, we want to go is yeah I think something we all
