0:37.6	For some of you it may be very obvious and for some of you it may be a little more subtle

0:43.4	about dual socialization with two of my students, Anna and Chris, will introduce
0:47.3	themselves in a minute. They've both gone through my advanced certification and
0:50.6	feminist coaching and Anna actually works for me now as well.
0:54.0	We're going to be talking about dual socialization, particularly from their perspective as being
0:58.0	Latino women who live in the US, but I think, you know, a lot of us, even if we aren't biracial or aren't immigrants,
1:05.8	have different forms of like competing socialization.
1:09.0	I mean, I certainly think like some of my socialization as a Jewish person is different than the socialization I got as a
1:14.8	woman in kind of dominant American culture.
1:17.3	So if you're a minority religion or you, you know, they're different.
1:20.5	I think you can relate to and get a lot out of this episode even if you are not
1:23.7	biracial or not an immigrant or don't have kind of a more obvious dual
1:28.6	socialization. All right so that's how much feel about why everybody should listen and
1:32.4	also just because these ladies are brilliant,
