Welcome to episode 250 of the way I heard it.

Chuck, it seems like a significant number.

It just dawned on me.

250, it's big and it's round, and it feels like there ought to be some sort of parade or something.

Well, you know what?

I'm going to get right on that.

We're going to have a parade

right here in the second bedroom behind me. We're going to bring in the second line. There will be no

parade. There will be no floats. But there will be a really great conversation with a guy I'm

eager to introduce you to. His name is Jesse Hagan. The title of this episode is

they want you to find them. It's a quote, kind of a thing that Jesse said as an aside in our

conversation. I wanted to call this episode, I am my own grandpa after the famous song,

which I will recite for you at some point in this episode.

But Chuck said, you know, he said something that really speaks to what he does better than

anything.

And what Jesse Hagan does is wander through your past to find out from whence you came. He spends a lot of time in

graveyards, a lot of time in clerk's offices. He's a genealogist, and he works for the

sons of the American Revolution. Am I overstating it, Chuck? He's a fascinating dude.

He really is. Not only is he good at what he does because he put together some stuff for me that rocked my world.

Yeah.

I know he did that giant book on you, but he did some stuff really fast for me.
