It seems like a not think to say, but Donald, his administration, his sycophants and

neighbors and his overlords in the Senate actually did all of us a favor.

They exposed just how weak our institutions are and they reminded us just how fragile

this nascent democracy of ours really is.

The problem before us is this.

We need strong institutions in order to fortify democracy.

The conundrum is this.

We currently have 147 Republicans in the House and 10 senators who voted to overturn the

results of a free and fair election.

These are men and women who sought to overthrow the government and yet continue to be tasked

with helping run it.

Only 10 House Republicans and 7 Republican senators voted to convict Donald for inciting

a self-co.

To one degree or another, the rest of them are all seditionists, get they go undeposed,

unindicted, unpunished, and perhaps even more dangerous, they're still able to run for

a reelection.

These men and women seized on political opportunism that almost did and if allowed to succeed

next time almost certainly will bring this country to its knees.

I've heard Democrats on the January 6th Committee waffle when asked if the behavior of these

Republicans was illegal.

They can't say.

But then Congressman Jamie Raskin assures us the committee's hearing will quote below
