Hey, everyone, it's Jen, and this is Lindsay.

And welcome back to Corpus to Looktai, the podcast.

We are taking a small diversion, a little tangent train from our Survivor series.

And we are going full on Halloween mode.

So these stories will all have some sort of tie to Halloween in varying ways, as you

heard in the last episode.

It was just more of just a creepy story.

And if you haven't, jump in our Facebook group because we want to hear from you

And the last several people who have joined have all answered the question. So thank you guys.

I think we're getting that message through. So we will go ahead and jump into this week's story. And this one kicks off with

a move across the country. And typically when you're a 14 year old girl, your worst nightmare is to

move 3,000 miles away from home, away from your school, your sports, teams, activities, friends, boyfriends. But that is exactly what happened

to Martha Moxley. But it actually helped her thrive. Her family moved from Piedmont, California,

to a really nice affluent area in New York. And she was doing great there. But there is definitely a nightmare tied to

this move, just not in the way you would expect. So this new start was enough for her to bloom.

She was voted most popular in her junior high school just nine months after arriving and this is a quote

from her brother Martha was a person who had everything in the world going for her. She was friendly,

she was athletic, she was talented in the arts. Everything seemed to come very easily to Martha.

She was very easy to get along with, upbeat, friendly, the kind of kid you like to be around.

She did really enjoy chilling at home with her family.
