And welcome back to Corpus delicti, the podcast.

We are super excited to have you back.

We're doing a little something different this week.

Yeah, so we are still officially in the survival series, and we had told you guys in the last

episode, which was not last week because we had to skip because of my paper, but the one before

that we had told you to keep several things in mind, continue to do that.

But like Jen said, this does deviate from the series just a tad, but it's also related

a little bit, probably, maybe, most likely. So let's jump right in and talk about it. This one

does come with a trigger warning. It does discuss torture and rape. And I'm going to be honest, this one kind of

creep me out a little bit. It is now October. Things are spooky and creepy and haunted.

This story is actually no different. And it did have me looking over my shoulder a little bit when I was

researching it. So in the year 2000, a woman named Jody Foster.

Not the actress.

Not the actress.

And her daughter, Hannah, moved to a new two-bedroom apartment.

They went from Montana to California.

They moved on January 31st, 2000.

January 31st, yes, I repeated it. There's a reason for that.

Jody, not the actress, was 33 and Hannah was three. They didn't have a whole lot, but Jody had spent a summary in the area of California and she really loved it.

And almost immediately, Jody got a weird feeling about this place that she moved.
