What is going on, everyone? Welcome to another episode of your favorite fitness, health and happiness podcast, the fit, healthy, and happy podcast. I am your coach and host, Josh, here with his co-host and co-coach, KG, and I'm in the house. I'm pretty proud of us. You know, we're firing up some old episodes the other day and we're thinking, you know, we've stuck to this intro and we've actually got a lot of compliments on it. And that's something I appreciate. You know, I hate when the intros are a little

0:24.5

too intense. Like there's no, no, no, no. And then there's some voice like hyping it up for 45 seconds. Like at a certain point, you got to get into it. But if you're new to our podcast, we're all about fitness health and happiness and everything that surrounds that self development and just being your

0:38.4

best self you know trying to grow and, you know, just improve on the little

0:42.0

things you can day to day. This is mailbox Monday, actually motivation Monday, my apologies,

0:47.0

where we provide some motivation via quotes, you know, clients that are doing great, things that

0:51.6

we're thinking about and exploring right now in our lives in terms of research and thoughts. And then we jump into your questions. So as always, if you want to submit questions or even if you want to put a face to the voice, check out our Instagram. It's at Kloss's Fit, C-O-L-O-S-S-U-S-F-I-T. Why should they follow, Kyle? You should follow because we do post every single day. And, you know, we've made it a goal as well to offer some sort of value every single day. Like, you know, yesterday I was talking about how, you know, just different things like, you know, tracking is super important. And then Josh the other day was talking about how, you know, goal setting is important is important but like if you just want more motivation

1:27.8

and inspiration like obviously these podcasts come out two times a week but every day you're going to see

1:32.6

something different from a post from the story and it's been cool because a lot of you who listen to

1:37.7

our podcast like instantly follow like the you know we we obviously try to talk to as many of you

1:41.6

as possible to just offer some feedback and insights.

1:44.4

And, you know, once again, we're probably the only people out here who actually communicate with the audience and who actually care. So if you send questions, if you want to talk to us, like, we're your guys. Like, we'll take care of you. There's lots of value to be had there. And we just want to make sure every person here, whether you're part of our coaching service or not, you guys get value and yeah so our

2:01.8

Instagram's great so really check it out

2:03.6

and yeah so you'll be able to see all those cool posts as well. Awesome. Yeah, even, you know, be sure to read the captions. Kyle spends a lot of time writing up really insightful captions. You know, sometimes I'm reading like, oh, I'm learning something here. So there's definitely lots of good nuggets there. you know we obviously post on to value on the stories but once again maybe take a quick pause of

2:21.6

the episode and follow us there at gloss is fit c-o-l-os-s us f-it you can also submit your questions there uh you know

2:28.6

any wins you want to share things you love about the episode we love hearing from everyone you know

2:32.9

i get maybe one nice message a day and it like fires me up. It's probably my favorite part of the day when someone says how the podcast has helped them or impacted them. And it's just, it's an awesome thing. So feel free to shoot us a message. We'd love to connect. But we're going to jump right into it. My quote this week is don't wait your turn, bet on yourself and have the

2:51.4

confidence to stand up and say, my time is now, Robert F. Smith, you know, and I just love this quote because, you know, at the end of the day, it's tough. You know, you want to wait to all the stars align, but sometimes you just got to go there and get at it. You know, I like to think that I want to leave all my excuses behind in 2020. You hear that a lot, but it's a good way to live and a

3:09.5

good thought process to have, You know, in a great exercise I just came across in my book going into thoughts. You know, he uses the practice of planning 90 days ahead and saying, you know, what would my perfect life look like in 90 days or my perfect 90 days? Like if I could look three months and ahead, like, you know, what level of fitness do I have? What level of energy? What things am I doing really well? What things have I stopped doing? And then start to reverse engineer how to get back from that. So if one of your goals is I lost 15 pounds, you know, it's an awesome goal, then you're going to lose five pounds a month. And then how are you going to lose that weight? You know, maybe you're someone who's going to start going to the gym five days a week or you're going to be someone who's going to start a meditation practice so you can be happier. You're going to be someone who goes to bed earlier so you can have more time to wake up, get to the gym and have more times for your kids at night. Like different things like this is a great little exercise you can use but you know your time is now

3:57.7

stop waiting for everyone else to get theirs like you got this yeah and i love how that was just even

4:02.8

you know talking about prioritizing yourself and we always talk about it as well it's just it's so

4:07.4

important and even just you know different sorts of visualization as well like it's something

4:11.5

i've been trying to implement it's it's tough to do it. But, you know,
