How early is too early to get married?

And more specifically when we're talking about finances,

what kind of things do you need to have financially prepared

and financially ready before you get married.

Now here, I'm not a finance expert,

I'm not a marriage expert, I'm actually not really an expert

in many things, but I am married, happily married,

and I do have a very strong opinion about this particular topic.

I did actually get this called in and I didn't want to play her episode on the air because it just sounded the way she said it I wanted to make

sure that um that her personal business was was not put out there's is what I'm trying

to say I didn't want like her family members to maybe

hear this episode and you know I just I wanted to protect her identity. And I also get this

message via DM and people typically say can you not say my name. So this one is just going to be a generic episode

and I don't want to say exactly the names of the people

that have shared this info with me,

but because I just want to protect their identity and protect their privacy.

But I hear a lot of people saying that they can't get engaged because they can't afford

the ring they want and they can't get married because they can't afford the lifestyle that they want or

it's not financially conducive just yet for them to get married. And I know that a

lot of people might look at my life and look at what I do for a living and the life that I feel very blessed to live and say, well, you don't get to say that because you know, you're in a different financial bracket or whatnot.

And I just, I wanted to be understood very clearly that while I've been in the entertainment

business for, since my late teens and I'm 26 now, I did not grow up with a lot of money so I have a very different perspective
