She is a professional climber who has really paved the way for other women in her sport,

starting at such a young age, 10 living in Boulder, Colorado, with her father by her side,

who was also an avid climber.

She soon made a name for herself and snagged a spot on USA Climbing's national team.

In 2013, she earned the North Face Young Gun Award, which honors up and coming climbers,

and then three years later, in 2016, she won three golds at the World Youth Championships,

and that was only the beginning.

Margot went on to be the first female to ascend La Rambla, which we talk about why that

was such a big deal.
