0:12.0	There really is. Thanks for having me. I feel like I am talking. I know I'm not just feel like it. I'm talking to somebody that I watched on television. You helped me understand ice skating probably more than anybody else I've ever met.
0:23.2	Well a lot of people don't know that you are my target audience.
0:26.3	No, honestly, I always pay attention.
0:28.1	You mean uncoordinated southern people?
0:29.9	They never saw ice?
0:30.9	No, it was like when I was competing I watched all the skaters around me make horrific mistakes and it's like okay don't do that right don't do that don't do that
0:40.0	definitely don't do that and do more of this right and then when I turned pro I you know I was always excited to get out in front of an audience and I would peek out the curtain to see what was going on day
0:54.0	and I always see men sitting in the audience with their arms cross looking around
0:54.5	making sure that none of their friends could see them on date night at the
0:58.2	ice skating show right then they'd be checking their watch and be like
1:07.8	all that so I figured if I could earn their respect if I could make figure skating entertaining and appealing to men
1:14.0	that I could skate forever if I wanted to
1:17.0	because they're like totally underserved, right?
1:20.0	So now, after all those years that I skate as 20 years as a professional skater, which is insane to me because I finally just ran out of gas and I had to quit, but I'll be in airports and a man will come up to me and they are you that skater and I go yes sir and he goes I don't I don't watch skating I know I'm a football guy and I mean all those you know I don't want but my wife loves it can I introduce you and I go absolutely and so
1:45.9	Gentlemen will come back with his wife and and say honey look who I found and she'll take one look at me and she'll say
1:52.7	I have no idea that is she'll take one look at me and she'll say,
1:55.1	I have no idea that it is.
1:58.2	And it's like, I win. All right, so, you know, it is.
