I've known today's guests Just Lively for years.

We've been talking about having her on the podcast for years and finally it happened.

We both grew up in Michigan and she was actually with me the day I met my boyfriend at an Elizabeth Gilbert talk in Michigan.

I knew that we both loved Elizabeth Gilbert and her book Big Magic, which I love, had just come out and she was on the book tour for that and was stopping in Detroit. And since then, Jess has traveled all over

the world in her very own eat, pray love-esque adventure. She's actually had Elizabeth Gilbert on her

podcast, a link to that. And so much has changed since that day. At that time, we were both in really interesting places in our lives.

And I'm so happy that our paths overlapped in Michigan when they did.

And we went to see that talk together for so many reasons.

And after that talk, we went to get tacos and just became friends.

And I somehow shared with her offhand about Abraham Hicks.

And I bring that up because it comes up quite a bit in this episode.

And I want to explain it a bit here at the top.

You might have heard me mention Abraham Hicks before on the podcast,

or maybe you just know about them on your own, or maybe you listen to Jess's podcast,

in which case you definitely know about them. But if you don't, I'm going to explain Abraham

because, like I said, it comes up. And after I mentioned Abraham Hicks to Jess that day over tacos, she ended up actually, and I almost, I say this in the episode, but I almost didn't bring it up to her.

But for some reason, I did.

She ended up immersing herself in the work of Abraham Hicks and the law of attraction and implementing their concepts and

many, many more teachers around the concept of manifestation and the law of attraction and

so many other modalities. She's really snowballed all of this. And she was already someone into intuition and intention in her work but it
