| 0:25.9 | your most successful self. But I think Kyle just raised a great question with me before we started |
| 0:30.3 | this. You know, what is your definition of success, Kyle? Yeah, and honestly, this is very, |
| 0:34.6 | very tough because it's super, like, it's a very relative term. And everyone, the issue is we all have different definitions of success. For different people, it's, it's different things, right? I have my version. Josh has his. You guys listening to have your own. But I think one of the biggest things is you got to look for those normal, those, those common traits that are often seen. |
| 0:54.9 | I think one of the biggest things is just overall happiness. |
| 0:57.1 | If you achieve what you want and you're super happy, I believe that is true success. |
| 1:02.5 | I think achieving personal goals, whatever they may be, striving for more. |
| 1:06.8 | I feel like just when you have goals and you're constantly striving for them and you can look at your overall life and realize that you're in control of your life, I look at that as personal success, right? It doesn't have to be having a Ferrari or a Lamborghini. It doesn't have to be being a business owner or, you know, just being super successful in terms of, you know, money aspects or anything like that. But just if you can look at your overall life and say, hey, I have control. I make the decisions that I want to make and I'm striving for different things and I'm always improving. I look at that as success. And once again, everyone's different, but I do believe that these tips will help you make all of these things happen. And I'm sure Josh has different thoughts as well. Yeah, the formal definition is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. And I think that's a good way of saying it as well. You know, to me, success is just being a little bit better than I was yesterday, knowing I'm not perfect, but knowing I have a desire and I will eventually become better. And, you know, by looking at it that way to me, I know even if I don't have a perfect day or I don't have a day where I make meaningful strides forward, that I'm still on that path and that journey to do better. And to me, habits like these 10 were about to give you are things that kind of lock me into this journey that hold me accountable to myself, that help me know I am making meaningful strides each day. So definitely listen up. be sure to write down some of your favorites because there's a high chance you're doing some of these already, but there's an even higher chance that there's a lot of them you aren't taking advantage of that could simply just transform your entire journey. So number one is focusing on what you have. So I have a quote, you know, just on my extra computer monitor, I have it put right there with a sticky note saying happiness is wanting what you have. It's so easy to place precedence of, hey, I'm going to be happy once I do this or if I achieve this or once I get to this level. But, you know, knowing what you have, being thankful for what you have and taking a second to say, hey, like 10 years ago, all I wanted to do was finish, you know, graduating school. I hated school and I did it, you know, |
| 2:55.0 | to take a second and be like, wow, I'm so proud that I accomplished that or, you know, my whole life I just want to be a fit and healthy person and you've done that now, you know, take joy in that. sure you might not be Mr. Olympia, but you know, you got to take advantage of the little things along the road. |
| 3:08.3 | And, you know, there's different ways to do this. |
| 3:10.0 | Of course, we talk about gratitude journaling a lot. But, you know, even just taking a second to be grateful or thankful or to make note of what you've done, where you've accomplished what you have. And, you know, it just goes a long way and it can be nourishing. Yeah. And highly successful people really focus on the journey rather than just that destination. I think, you know, a lot of times we're kind of just saying, oh, I'm going to be happy once I reach this certain point. And if you focus on, you know, what you have and you're grateful for it and you're happy with it, but you're always striving for more. I truly believe that's a huge definition of success and that's something that's going |
| 3:40.9 | to consistently help you reach that next level of success. So that was very well said. |
| 3:45.5 | What's number two? Number two is just a healthy breakfast. Okay. A lot of times people are |
| 3:51.6 | like, I don't eat breakfast. Okay. Okay. This is one of the biggest tips, whatever meal that you |
| 3:56.5 | break your fast with after sleeping, whether you eat at 1 p.m. or whether you eat at 7 or 8 a.m. like us, you need to have a healthy breakfast. This is one of the biggest tips and one of the most important things that highly successful people, especially highly successful, you know, fitness athletes and just overall people who have great physiques and just people who are striving for better. They always have a healthy breakfast. Now, what does healthy mean? That's going to be |
| 4:18.7 | once again a definition that you're going to have to determine for yourself. I personally will |
