| 0:00.0 | What is going on, everyone? Welcome to the fit, healthy, and happy podcast. I'm your host and coach Josh here with his co-host and co-coach KG and I'm on the microphone. Someone got mad at him for saying KG in the house. Yeah, I just had to switch it up, you know, make everyone happy here. No, it's KG and I'm in the house. Yeah, you had to hit him with it, right? |
| 0:22.3 | Still got to do it, man. |
| 0:23.4 | I don't care. |
| 0:24.1 | Yeah, and we're coming at you with another amazing episode of Motivation Monday. Glad everyone's been loving that, loving the change of the name. And best way to start as we know is jumping into a quote. What do got k g so the quote for this motivation monday is |
| 0:39.2 | you are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream jeez i like that man any any age |
| 0:47.8 | any place anywhere you are there's never i just feel like it's so cool and inspiring when i see people |
| 0:54.1 | who are like you know know, 40, 50, 30, whatever, just a time in their life when most people say, oh, you know what, I can't do this and they just set another goal or they try to do something different. |
| 1:04.9 | And Josh and myself, I think it's been so cool also for both of us because we've worked with so many people. |
| 1:10.1 | I've got a gentleman who's 73 years old or 72 years old he's an online client i've had so many personal training online clients who are just at a different stage of their life and they reach out and they just like most people would be like oh you know it's too late to get in shape it's too late to get into power lifting and if there's one thing i've learned is don't listen to the naysayers, but also you're literally just one step away from achieving whatever you want. And, you know, I know it's a little bit cliche there, but I just firmly believe that you can literally do anything you want to. And it's just, it's never too late. So if you're ever thinking like, oh, you know, online coaching isn't for me or lifting heavy isn't for me or like, you know, maybe trying to run a half marathon or whatever it is, I just, hey, stop holding yourself back, give it a shot, you know, you're one step away and you can do it. I love that. That is just a powerful quote for today. Yeah, that's it, man. Yeah, too many people use age as an excuse or, oh, I have this, that, the other. Everyone's got something, you know, the only barrier is truly ourselves, you know, get out there and do the best. It's you versus you. Definitely something we're very passionate about. And, you know, adding on to that, my quote, just going back to a simple one today. Doesn't got to be overly intense, just going to have some fun with it. I got the toughest workouts are the most satisfying ones. Something to be said about just having a nasty fun workout, crushing it, being there 10 out of 10 intensity, crushing every set, crushing every rep, being just so aware, tune in with some good music, getting fired up. So, you know, if you haven't had one in a while, just say, hey, I'm going to go hard today. |
| 2:35.5 | I'm going to go crush it. |
| 2:36.4 | I'm going to get a good sweat. And I'm going to feel good about it because, you know, nothing really gets you motivated like crushing a great workout. Yeah, like we mark our intensity levels for all of our clients and even ourselves because we do use our spreadsheets. there's nothing better than when you just have that 10 to 10 workout that you're just like |
| 2:51.9 | limping out of the gym you You know, obviously, I think sometimes people take it to an extreme, but when you just, you leave and you're just like, your legs are shaking or your upper body's like so pumped up that you can like barely fit through the door. No, I'm kidding. But no, it's just like it's those workouts like where you you just feel like you've just given it. You're all, like even myself when I'm off my phone, which I've been doing a pretty bad job of lately. And I just, I'm fully dedicated and fully focused. It's just, wow, those are the best ones. So, yeah, that was a really good one. So without further ado, we're out of the quotes. Do you have any thoughts for the day, man? No, I was thinking we were into client shoutout. No, not too many thoughts. You know, we had some great thoughts. We just put on an awesome episode, kind of, you know, what we're thinking and where we're at right now with some motivation.
