Summary

0:46.9	Philistines deployed their forces to meet Israel, and as the battle spread, Israel was defeated by
0:52.4	the Philistines, who killed about 4,000 of them on the battlefield.
0:56.2	When the soldiers returned to camp, the elders of Israel asked, why did the Lord bring defeat on us
1:01.5	today before the Philistines? Let us bring the Ark of the Lord's covenant from Shiloh, so that he may go
1:07.4	with us and save us from the hand of our enemies. So the people sent men to Shiloh,
1:11.9	and they brought back the Ark of the Covenant of the Lord Almighty, who is enthroned between the
1:16.7	cherubim, and Eli's two sons, Hoffney and Phaneus, were there with the Ark of the Covenant of God.
1:24.2	When the Ark of the Lord's Covenant came into the camp, all Israel raised such a great shout
1:29.2	that the ground shook. Hearing the uproar, the Philistines asked, what is all this shouting about
1:34.6	in the Hebrew camp? When they learned the Ark of the Lord had come into the camp, the Philistines
1:39.3	were afraid. A God has come into the camp, they said, oh no, nothing like this has happened before.
1:45.0	We're doomed.
1:46.1	Who will deliver us from the hand of these mighty gods?
