And welcome to SCOTUS 101, where we break down what's happening at the Supreme Court, what the justices are up to, and other things related to our favorite branch of government.

This week we're talking about new grants, denials, and oral arguments, and we'll interview one of our favorite appellate judges, Bill Pryor.

So the Supreme Court heard a few oral arguments this week, including on a day when the rest of the federal government was closed because of a snowstorm.

Sure. So this is the case brought by pro-life crisis pregnancy centers in California,

challenging two parts of a state law. The first part requires centers that perform ultrasounds

and pregnancy tests and other things like that. It requires them to advertise the state's

free abortion services.

The second part of the law deals with centers that provide non-medical services like counseling
