And you two have a fascinating story to share, and not only a story to share, but also some real important things to teach us.

And Matt, you are a mental health counselor.

Did I get that?

Yeah, I am currently an LLP, but very soon going to drop that first L for a, so an LPC is a licensed professional counselor. Okay. So you're going to be analyzing me while we talk? I will try not to. Okay. And I'll try not to analyze you. Yeah, to analyze each other. That's right. No, we're both going to analyze you. Oh, no, I'm in the hot seat. Yeah. I'm too close to her to analyze with any sort of accuracy.

That's right. Yeah. And Lori, you are the founder and president of Whole in My Heart ministries.

And you are addressing a lot of the same issues that we are at authentic intimacy.

Your ministry began with your story.

And so that's what we want to learn about today.

I've just heard bits and pieces of your story, so I'm excited to hear it first-hand here.

Yeah, absolutely.

So where should we start?

You know, I guess one place that we start is a question that I got asked yesterday, and this is a new question that I wasn't getting asked before. But somebody asked me yesterday at a speaking event, what is your view on mixed orientation marriages? Oh, there you go. Yeah. And some people might be like,

what in the world does that mean? So let's start right there. So we are in what people call a

mixed orientation marriage, which means I am attracted. When I am lusting or when I have these

sexual drive, it's toward women. That's my default.

And my heart is attracted to Matt.

And then that falls in love with him.

And that can lead to sexual expression, which is true for many women in super straight marriages and not mixed orientation marriages.

But I'm tracking to women.
