I think everybody loves cereal. I think it's our right as human

beings to enjoy cereal. We didn't invent many great things, but I think he could put cereal up there

as one of them. And as a kid, I loved the sugary cereal. I wanted a dessert treat. I wanted my, I wanted my sweet tooth to be running the show when it

came to breakfast. And really when it came to pretty much any meal. I wanted a little sweetness.

And it was a little bit of a win as a kid if you could get that for breakfast, right? You get that

cereal, that sugary cereal that was marketed to kids.

And you're always trying to convince your parents. I had a hard time. My mom was always pushing

a healthy cereal and some kind of healthy breakfast. Very rare that I was allowed to indulge with some

kind of sugary treat. My sister and I were always strategizing to convince my mom to get it for us,

throw down her hard-earned cash for

garbage. Occasionally, we would succeed. We could, you know, on a holiday, maybe on vacation,

we could convince mom to get us some junk. And we went wild for it. And I made a pact with my

sister that when I was an adult, I would allow myself to have whatever damn cereal I wanted.

And I thought, I'm making my own money.

I'm a grown man.

I'm going to buy sugary cereal.

Well, as time went by, I gained a little wisdom.
