I'm Bonnie Burns of Oyster Bed 7. Sexual harassment and sexual assault of women have been in the news again, most recently with the Me Too hashtag and revelations about Harvey Weinstein and other well-known figures.

It seems that every few days there's a new person we hear about. So many women experience sexual harassment and assault,

including Christian women. How do those experiences affect us in our marriages? And how can we

heal and move forward? This isn't an easy subject to talk about or to listen to.

And we would like to invite some of you to maybe come back a little bit later and listen to the episode at another time if you are not ready to be hearing about this right now.

So I want to start with the Me Too hashtag. One of the really

powerful aspects of the Me Too hashtag has been seeing how many women in our lives have stories to

share about sexual harassment and sexual assault. And those of us sitting around the virtual podcast table have our own stories as well.

So ladies, is there anything any of you would like to share, even if it is just to say, me too?

I've experienced, I have not experienced sexual assault.

I have experienced harassment.

And I guess the one that I've mentioned and it's really come back to me.

I think it came back to me some when I went back to my high school reunion and I started thinking about high school more.

Was when I was 17 and I was going to be a drum major, my band director, who was at least in his 40s, I think he was probably around 50.

We were talking about what our uniforms would be.

And I was standing in his office and there was nobody directly around us.
