All right. Let me ask you a question. What was the valuation of Stripe when you sold to them? I think it was like $9 billion in like April 2017. Three part question that results in Sam knowing your current bank balance. That was part one. Okay. I'm not going to answer the third question. I know what the third question is. I'm not going to answer it. What's the valuation now?

Strip was obviously a good company already

0:53.7

but also that wasn't even on my mind. I wasn't thinking

I was more just thinking like hey, hey, I'm running this really tiny, scrappy website. Like, how do I make enough money to pay my rent? And so I was just trying to get sponsors. And I had this giant list of, like, the perfect sponsors for Andy Hackers, and Stripe was number one on that list. Like, after I built up enough sales skills, I was going reach out to them. But before before I got to that point, Patrick, the CEO emailed me and was like, hey, can we buy indie hackers? And so I was like, yeah, of course. It's much better than getting a sponsor. They, Sean, uh, Cortland, do you know Cortland has a brother? Yeah, I found this out the other day that you have a twin brother. Yeah, but they don't look identical, but yeah, they look similar.

And then he ended up coming over on Friday and we ate dinner. And he was like, you guys want to go out? And I'm like, no, I don't really go out. but Sarah, my wife was like, yeah, I'll go out with you.

1:43.3

2:02.0

with you. And they went out until like three or four a.m. like, party. And I can't even get my brother to go out with me. I'm like, hey, dude, come visit me in Seattle. And he's like, now I got better things to do. Like, I just saw him last week for the very first time since the pandemic started. Oh my gosh. But yeah, he's like my right-hand man at Andy Hackers,

2:18.8
