I'm going to continue my theme from last week, taking another

angle on how a wife can be an affliction to her husband. What a sad but true

topic talking about bad wives.

If only it wasn't true in Christian family, but today it's the woman sometimes who sabotages

her husband in other ways than by means of her tongue.

This is the wife whose husband cannot trust her with finances, because she will rack up debts,

without any references to his wishes or their joint resources. It's so easy to get pulled into shopping

online and hitting that submit order button. And then there's a reckoning when he finds

out what their credit card bill is,

and how many bills he thought she had paid that she hasn't.

This really can wreck the peace in the home.

Fights about money are just as bad as fights about anything, but it's especially

bad when the husband was assuming she was taking care of things.

Now of course none of this is implying that husbands can't do wrong or can't be

skinflints or can't run up the credit cards themselves. I know that happens to, but

this podcast is for the women, not the men therefore I'm talking to you women

but what can a husband do when he has a wife who can't be trusted with the checkbook or

the credit card a wife who refuses to take correction.

If it was reversed, and he was the one racking up the debt, and I tell you often there are cases

like this, of course. In those cases I would encourage the wife to go to her

pastor or elders and get help. But think for a minute about the possible outrage if a husband went to the pastor or elders to get help on how to get his
