Hey everyone, good morning. Welcome back to the show. This is a believe the ninth day of our daily coverage of Ukraine

prices after Russia's invasion. It's funny when we decided to go daily while our producers are paternity leave,

we were terrified that the audience would revolt over the lack of editing polish over a bit of a scraggly thing,

dog barks in the background. The only thing people actually complained about was the lack of intro music and transition.

So good news, Phil is slowly coming back to the show and that is why you just heard the Realignment's intro theme song for the first time in a bit.

Here is today's episode. So I can I spoke with Christian Bros is the author of the Kill Chain defending America in the future of high tech warfare.

Chris has an interesting background. He is the chief strategy officer at Andrew Industries, a tech startup that develops

national security capabilities. He's a senior fellow at the Cardinia Diamond for National Peace and served as the youngest

he has a staff director of the Senate Armed Services Committee from 2015 to 2018. This episode is part of our Ukraine coverage is all about how the US military ranks up against the Russian military given its performance in Ukraine for the past few weeks

and given the prospects of a possible conflict with China should this situation escalate or should there be conflict in Taiwan.

Chris manages to cover this really interesting perspective where despite the fact that he is very much a member of any part of the defense establishment,

he is very critical of the way we structure our military, the way that systems are procured, all those things. So once again, we're going to take a very straightforward issue and look at it from a slightly different angle.
