While some are rejoicing, the 2016 election results have left many people feeling anxious, sad and overwhelmed. As emotional as this process has been there were a few lessons that I will be sharing with you in this episode. Also, you'll learn why having control over your daily actions is more important, ways you can move forward and why you should not allow this to distract you from the path you're on. Today, I challenge you to make a positive effect on the world instead of letting the world affect you.

0:05.0	So today's topic is if you're overwhelmed by the election results here's what you can do now.
0:12.0	And this is specifically geared toward people in the US,
0:16.0	specifically geared towards people or maybe upset,
0:19.0	or even those who are happy that Trump won because there are a lot of obviously a lot of
0:26.0	people came out and voted for Trump and there are a lot of people who are
0:30.0	really upset about Trump being elected as well.
0:34.7	And just to give you the perspective I'm coming at this with because so many people are
0:39.4	afraid to tell you who they voted for.
0:41.6	I'm not one of those people. I did not vote. I exercised my
0:49.6	right to not vote. And if you're curious what political orientation I am, I'm a
0:55.8	registered independent. I don't feel represented by either party and I can't stand politics as a general rule and politicians as a general rule.
1:08.0	So that's where I stand.
1:10.0	You wanted to know my political beliefs or maybe you didn't but now you do now you know that's where I come from I feel and we'll get to this in a minute that I have much more control over my daily actions I mean if you want to go vote go vote you know who to vote for.
1:26.3	You know who represents you best or maybe you're like me maybe you said nah I not, I'm out of this one.
1:35.1	Neither one of these guys I can vote for, right?
1:39.9	So I want to talk about what you can do, but first I want to talk about what you can do,
1:42.8	but first I want to talk about a few lessons,
1:46.4	a few things that also pissed me off.
1:49.1	And number one was, nobody thought Trump had a chance at winning.
1:54.0	I thought that way all my friends who were voting for Trump
