Like a lot. He has not only helped advance scientific understanding of the human stress response over the past decade, but he has also accomplished extraordinary feats of human endurance, which we're going to talk about.

He ran a half marathon above the Arctic Circle, barefoot, only wearing shorts. He swam underneath ice for 66 meters.

He is hung on with one finger at an altitude of 2000 meters. He's climbed some of the highest mountains in the world, wearing only his shorts.

He ran a full marathon in the Mube Desert without drinking anything. So this guy, well, he's out there, but he's also brilliant, as I mentioned.

And what this episode I think covers more so than anything else is how to attain body autonomy and resilience, which is not something that's going to come from your doctor's office in most cases.

It's not going to come from the supermarket and it's certainly not going to come from the government.

It's going to come from a mindset shift looking inward and seeking out things in life, experiences, ideas that challenge you.
