I want to just roll it on back and talk about the first rule.

The first rule is kind of the rule.

All of the other rules are just derivatives of the first rule which is to give every dollar a job whether you

have $300 or $3,000. As soon as you give each one of those dollars a job you feel

empowered you feel clarity you feel that scarcity that we

talk about quite a bit and you recognize that what your money is going to do is

what you want it to do and there comes the peace. So rule one

where you're giving every dollar a job it's the jobs that you want they're

your priorities and there's too much in the personal finance arena around you should you should you should you should instead

Instead of talking about what you want what you want. I'm not talking about oh, I want to go into credit

God nobody wants to do that nobody wants to make poor financial decisions

but very very rarely do we sit down and this is kind of more of a kind of step back and think about your life moment but

Very rarely do we sit down and just kind of say gosh

Am I doing what I want to do is my money doing what I want to do? Is my money doing what I want it to do?

It starts to bleed into your career, where you're living, what you're spending your time

doing, and that can sometimes be kind of a sensitive, difficult,

hairy, big ball of twine that you're supposed to unravel.

But that still is the first rule, that you think about your priorities, what matters to you,

and then you have your money, just do that. There's no Joneses or anything like that. There's no new marketing material,
