Hello, whinabbers my name is Jesse Meekam and this is podcast number 2008 for

0:14.3

whinab where we teach you four rules to help you stop living paycheck to pay check

0:18.1

get out of debt and save more money today I want to break pace a little bit from what we normally do on the

0:24.4

podcast and talk a little bit about our strategy as it related to the rollout of the new

0:29.4

Wineab. We took what they call in the software world an MVP approach, not most valuable player, but minimum viable product.

0:40.0

What we did was we took what Wynab for is and we also took 10 11 12 years of

0:48.2

learning and we said what would we build if we were to do it all over again?

0:53.4

The trick is you don't want to build everything because some of the stuff, you might be wrong.

And that was exactly what we did with the new wine app. We said, what are the core features?

What must people have in order to follow the four rules? And then we delivered that.

roadmap and then there's learning that's taken place since launch on December 30th and we've scrapped things that we had just thought were

1:35.7

absolute slam dunks for the roadmap, we totally scrapped. We learn new things, and now

1:40.9

where you've adjusted slightly in our trajectory, not a ton, but a little bit,

1:45.0

and it saved us probably months and months of work.

1:50.0

So what's excited about the MVP is you get to launch with those core features and then you

1:55.0

get to use a lot of data, a lot of qualitative feedback you receive, quantitative feedback that

2:00.7

you've received, and you're able to build something that is data-driven,

2:06.2

something that people actually need, build the features that they actually need,

2:10.0

those things that will truly move the needle on changing people's behavior and having

2:15.6

them follow wine abbs for basic rules.
