So today I'm going to talk about bringing up kids which is such a huge

topic so I'm just going to call this little bit random tips for mothers of little kids.

Remember, you are to model Christ to your children.

First Corinthians 11-1, Paul says,

imitate me just as I also imitate Christ. And that is what mothers have to do. You're

showing your children to imitate you as you imitate Christ. You're not just

doing this when you have other adults around, you're to do this

when only your children see it. In other words, all the time. Raising children is

discipleship and it is one of the most important things you will ever do.

So we should all be praying about our child rearing and take it very seriously. We're equipping our children to be faithful

Christian men and women. So here are the little random tips. Number one, seek out

your little kids.

Don't wait to be asked.

Bring me a book and I'll read your story.

When they're older, seek them out.

Come have a cup of cocoa and tell me about your day.

Two, ask them questions when they're little,

but even more importantly, listen.

What are they trying to tell you

when they can't get your attention?

Three, don't label every report as tattling.
