0:14.2

about our top five tips to stop skipping workouts and stay on track. You know everyone knows it's easy

0:19.8

you know to be consistent for a short

0:21.6

little while, but how can you do this long term? You know, you don't want to be that person. It's like, I used to work out. I used to have a routine. We're going to give you some of our top tips to actually get in the gym and stay in the gym and make it part of your routine. So number one is to begin with the end in mind.

0:35.2

Think of how you'll feel afterwards.

0:37.1

So if you can really think of the positives of working out

0:39.5

and kind of look past the initial pain, is to begin with the end in mind. Think of how you'll feel afterwards. So if you can really think of

0:38.1

the positives of working out and kind of look past the initial pain, you know, you've really got to get through some of those clouds to get to the sunshine. And, you know, at the end of the day, yes, it's a little tough putting in that work, you know, getting in there, feel in the burn, pushing through it, bring yourself to the gym. But after workouts, you literally get endorphins, which is a chemical

0:55.1

release in your brain to make you feel workouts, you literally get endorphins,

0:54.5

which is a chemical release in your brain to make you feel happier, you know, really give you more energy. You're going to feel healthier. You're going to feel accomplished. And you know, getting movement done and actually having an outlet is so important because when you just sit around all day, we're not made for that. We get too much pent up energy. We get all fired up and we have nowhere to go, right so it's important you have that outlet it's great to feel like you're working on yourself and

1:13.6

investing yourself and going to the gym and being active each day should be part of your regimen, maybe not perhaps a gym, but being active each and every day. You know, we weren't made to sit for 12 hours a day, watch TV and then call it a night. That's not what we're made to do. You know, you have amazing bodies,

1:27.7

you know, take care of it, make sure to move it and just think of how great you'll feel. I love that. And yet, even adding on, just literally trying to close your eyes and envision, like, okay, once I'm done this workout, like even if you want to skip it, like what, what's the feeling that's going to take place. You all know that feeling when you walk out of the gym, when you finish

1:44.9

something and you're just like, wow, I can't believe. Like that's the feeling that's going to take place you all know that feeling when you walk out of the gym when you finish something and you're just like wow i can't believe like that's the best feeling in the world so instead of just thinking about having to force yourself to get in there just think of like what's that feeling afterwards right um and then pass that even myself um i also try to think about how my day's going to go afterwards so if i do this thing that I say I'm going to do instead of hitting the snooze button, instead of laying in bed, how's the rest of my day going to feel? And usually after getting that six or seven o'clock, you know, workout in or whatever, you know, even if it's a nine o'clock workout, everything else goes so much better. Whereas if I skip that workout and just like lay in bed and make all these

2:18.9

excuses, every part of my day ends up being worse. And it's just funny how it works. Just think about

2:23.2

how you're going to feel after and you're going to instantly probably want to jump out of bed and

2:27.0

stop skipping workouts. And then number two, this is absolutely huge. Just having a clear cut goal,

2:33.1

having something that you actually are striving

2:36.0

towards is 100% going to stop you from skipping workouts. Okay. So a lot of times people are just kind of

2:42.2

going in the gym. You'll notice they're going through the motions. They'll do a couple curls here.

2:45.9

They'll do a couple pushups. That's it. Right. If you have a clear cut goal, something that's

2:50.7

tangible, something that's specific, realistic? If you have a clear-cut goal, something that's tangible, something that's
