11 days into 2025 we finally got our first fight night.

It was at the apex, so not much of a change from how things had been going.

Nobody was talking about this. This one was dead.

The only place you could talk about this was in the replies of

the Babes of MMA Instagram page. Only people who were horny for Dern's butt or horny for

Revers' feet were interested in this fight and me who's just horny for fights. But all in all,

it turned out pretty well, to be honest. There were lots of stoppages, but some of them were

strange stoppages.

The refs looked like they'd taken some time for Christmas, is what I'd say.

But generally, there weren't any like breakout stars.

I don't think anyone with super promise.

But there was some fun stuff.

The main event was Big Mac, McKenzie Dern versus Amanda Rebus in a rematch of a fight that

when you look at the date of it, makes you feel incredibly old.

2019, almost six years ago, McKenzie Dern was 7 and 0 at the time, Amanda Rebus was 7 and 1,

Rebus won.

I went back to watch it. I got bored. But this one was pretty good. Honestly, I don't know what's going on with McKenzie Dern because her last Lupita Gomez fight was actually pretty good.

The Amanda Lammosh fight and the Jessica Androj fight and even the Angie Hill fight and the Jan-N-N fights,

like she just looked like she'd completely forgotten everything.
