And I'm pretty ecstatic to be back because we've got a proper UFC pay-per-view lined up.

And I'm not talking about one of those pretender UFC pay-per-views that we've had the last few years.

I'm talking about a real hard-dick blood pumping, gets your bloodlust going, look at the names on this card, stuff to actually

care about, stuff to actually write about, I actually wrote an article this week because I'm so

excited, kind of pay-per-view. Of course, this event will happen and then there'll be like nine

bad pay-per-views and people will keep excusing it by going, this is what we do to get UFC 300 or whatever

this one's numbered. But it's looking pretty good. And it's also really interesting because

this is one where people are interested for meritocracy reasons. This is not, Islam Makachiev is not

a beacon of charisma. Neither is Amman Sarukian. Marabh Valyi is not, is not in any way a great talker, neither is Umar and Magamato. You got the sort of freaky Caucasus's fetishism going on, but they're all here because they're the best, and we just want to see that. And I'm saying, let's get back to that. That's what I want.

That's all I want. There's also a load of other stuff on this card that's pretty interesting. There's a few names that I've been said. I mean, Peyton Talbot's supposed to smash an old Rani Barcellus, and there's a few things like that. But there's also some great matchups. So let's start at the top. If you haven't read the article,

go and read the article. It's free for everyone. It's called Lessons from Makachiev versus

Zeruky and won. Naturally, it focuses on the first fight. Talk a little bit about their

improvements and not improvements since that first fight in various areas. But the first fight

obviously was very clinch heavy, very scramble heavy.

It was very little striking going on.

And it was two rounds of just awesome back and forth action.

And then the last round, Surukin hit a wall and Makachiev didn't damage him in any way.

He just sort of took over by being able to get him down
