Billy, I've been doing radio for 23 years.

This is a first for me today.

We are live at the Montgomery County landfill, the first time I've ever done a broadcast at a landfill.

And I've done some broadcast at some real dumps in my 23 years of radio.

But this is the first landfill I've actually been at, and we are here with Rumpke today.

How are you doing, man? Good morning.

Good morning. It's great to see you, Shannon. This is fascinating.

We are on top of the landfill so we can kind of look out and see everything going on.

We just saw, what, a trailer go 70 feet up in the air to dump trash into this landfill. You know, I don't really think about my trash once I throw it away. And then you see something like this and you realize that people do take care of the trash. Yeah. It's like so many things that you just, you know, things that happen in life. Once they're out of your life, you don't really give any second thought to it. I don't know what you think when you think landfill, like when I thought that I was going to come out to a landfill, I thought I would see like a, you know, 10-story high pile of trash. Right. It's not like that. It's actually like really clean. A lot of open space, but you don't see like a ton of trash. The The other thing, too, you would think that you would be able to find this place based on the smell. You know, it could follow your nose, like the frugal loops parrot. Yeah. You know, you think you'd build to smell this thing from miles and miles away. We are literally in the landfill, on the landfill, right now. You don't smell anything. No, no, that was actually the most surprising part about it, is that you'd expect it to smell maybe like a dump, but it doesn't. You were asking on the ride up here, because we had a short ride up here to the top, where we got a shuttled up this hill. A great view of the trash out here. And you were like, well, how do you not, how does it not smell?

Like, what do you do?

And I said, they get febrize out.

They get lysol.

They spray it down.

That's how they do it here. Yeah, and I'm like, you're not, you're not being serious about the febrize. I think he was. I think it was serious about that. Well, I don't think it's the squirt bottle that I have at my house,

so you're going to have to do it on a much grander scale.

But, I mean, there's some heavy equipment out here,

rear loaders, dozers, compactors, all working right now. And man, I can't wait to hear what Matt's got to say when it comes up here on this hill. He's done a lot of radio, too. I don't think he's ever done it at a landfill like this. Out of all the KSR guys, if you put one of us or all of us in a bobcat, who's most likely to succeed and actually start the bobcat, operate the bobcat, and not blow something up? Man, can I go none of us? Like, I don't think, I don't have any faith in any of us to get the bobcat work in rolling i guess i guess maybe i would go drew

you think drew well i mean we'd be able to figure it out we heard drew you know it was very handy with

like landscaping and and yard care you think just because the guy can operate a lot more he can

operate a bobcat well i guess he would be the best of the group if he's already using these
