Today we are in Lexington, Kentucky in Nicholasville at UK Credit Union, where in Central Kentucky

they have over 100 banks in credit unions. Who offers more than 200 checking that do offer

more than 200 checking accounts? Why can't banking just be simple? And that's what we're going to do today here at UK Credit Union. Shannon the dude, my pro-H-O-A co-host is alongside with me. Good morning, shit. No, no, no, not pro-H-O-A. Just pro people actually cutting their lawn, you know? Like being a decent human being. If you do that, then there's no need for an HOA. but there's people who don't like to mow their lawn and that's why HOAs exist I like that's how the line is you're a decent human being if you mow your lawn yeah you don't you're not well if you're not you just need to like go get some concrete and just concrete in your entire driveway just make it a big parking lot then you don't have to mow yeah've seen like places in Arizona, they have gravel or just like rocks that they put in their front lawn. That's a lot low maintenance than what I have to deal with. Just dump a big pile of sand and make it a beach right there in your front yard. You could do that too, I guess. The team is in Vegas and doing a couple things there. So we'll talk about that and much more on the way. Since we're here at a bank, let me ask you, do you still write checks? Does anybody still write checks? I don't know if that's still. Okay, we got some KSR faithful here in the front row, and a lot of them raise their hands so yeah i guess people

who write checks that's still a common thing i just haven't written a check in a long time really yeah

like i mean normally you just kind of Venmo or i guess some people use what is it zell

where you want to send money to somebody just goes right to them well i'm writing a lot of checks

right now for the wedding yeah unfortunately um i still pay rent with a check oh really you don't you don't have like uh direct deposit set up no and then i or withdrawal in that case my passport yesterday so i pay with check there so actually i use checks a lot shannon but doesn't sound like you don't use it at all no i mean I feel like that's the thing that I know exists, but I don't really use it very often.

Well, do you think we'll get to a point where we're a cashless society?

Rupp Arena is a place where you can't, I mean, you can give a $5 bill to a kid. he'd run up to try to get an ice cream cone and they'd say, sorry, kid, you can get to the back of the line and make a credit card with him.

I don't know that we'll ever go cashless.
