| 0:54.5 | Me. There you go. I was thinking about that. That drop, that was an 18 second drop, by the way. But if you're going to do that for anybody. Is that a record? Monty Python. Probably not. There's probably been some like TikToks or something that have been longer. |
| 1:27.6 | Someone exasperated, which is always my favorite. Yeah, I was thinking about that because all this weekend was like there's a ceasefire and then somebody violated. There's just like ceasefires, of course, in the Strait of Hormuz between Iran and the U.S. I guess Israel is like not part of that one anymore. And now Israel and Lebanon as well. And it's just like, it seems like a ceasefire is the easiest thing in the world to police, right? Like, what are we not going to do? We're not going to fire. We're not shooting, right? There's going to be no shooting. No one will get shot. There'll be nothing that is shot or shot at. And then somebody shoots. That's what breaks the ceasefire, right? It seems like a really simple thing to me. Well, I mean, if you fire, then you've ceased cease firing. You've ceased cease firing. But it's always confusion about, well, who did it first? Who broke the ceasefire first? It's probably whoever fired a gun. That probably or shot a missile or something. Probably that. And I get, you know, on one side or the other, there's some nuance because, like, there could be somebody just firing a gun that's not associated with the people in the ceasefire. Right, it was like a wedding or something. |
| 2:01.5 | Also seems like something you could clear up really quickly. |
| 2:03.8 | Seems like something you could clear up. |
| 2:05.0 | Theoretically. |
| 2:05.7 | But it just seems like, it just seems like the rest of the world is now held hostage by this ongoing posturing around this ceasefire stuff that's been going on in the Middle East for as long as I've been alive. |
| 2:17.0 | So as I understand it, we went through a brief phase of double blockade, and then we went to no blockade, and then we went back to blockade. So Friday, the Strait of Hormuz was open. By the way, there's a record set for the first time. They're saying for the first time in history, it's absolutely not the first time in history, but in modern history. For the first time, no oil tankers went through the Strait of Hormuz on that day. Nothing. Nothing went through. And of course, there's a lot of government officials on the air, U.S. government officials saying, yeah, we're going to try to get gas blow $4 a gallon, but we'll see. It'll get there. You know, it might take a while, but it might get there. It's like, it's not getting there this week if there's no oil tankers going through one of the most, you know, busy thoroughfares for oil making its way to the rest of the world has nothing going through it right now. Yeah, so just quickly at a glance, this is from Brady Knox at Washington |
