Merry Christmas. It's Ashley Burns. Say hi to Ashley, everybody. Merry Christmas.

It's Christmas morning, Ashley. So obviously, this would be a little bit of a short one,

but we wanted to wish everybody a very Merry Christmas. Got stuff to do. We're recording before shit hits the fan. Right. The wee hours between Santa and Mayhem. I've tried something. I tried something. I told the kids, told the kids, now when you wake up in the morning, stay in bed. We've got to make sure that Santa came and everything. And we'll come get you when everything's good. Oh, smart. Smart lady. Is that going to work? Let's find out. Listen, if it's going to work any day of the year, it's this one. We did start a really smart thing this year, which is we started Saturday morning cartoons with the kids where they can just watch cartoons and they can watch it like in a room that's very close to our bedroom. They can go in and watch and have their screens and stuff and we set it up in there and then it's like, ah, we can hear them and know they're safe and everything, but then they just don't come in and like, you get a nice little wake-up. I get a cannonball. Yeah, I was gonna say, you think that we get asleep in. They come and talk to me first. They'll always come and like climb in the bed with me for a cuddle for a couple minutes. Make sure that I'm awake and then leave me for cartoons. That happens all the time. Like when I try to say to you sleep in and then like 15 minutes later, you're up and going. You're like, I was up anyway, you know. Yeah, well, it's like, you know, sometimes you know when you're going to be able to get back to sleep and when it's going to be more work to get back to sleep than to just get up. I like to be on tangents, even on Christmas Day. What are your Christmas duties you have left for this morning? Without any, without, you know, not knowing who's listening to today's podcast, hey everybody, families

and whatnot.

Right. You know, I have, I have some elvish duties to do, you know, and make sure I have to go

through, double check everything, make sure that Santa left the presence in the appropriate

places, that the stockings have been appropriately stuffed, that everyone's got everything

ready to go. And then I've got to go

start doing, like, the thing is too. We should check the carrots, by the way. Check the carrots.

Yeah. Because Finn one could eat carrots. He's so we, we, we did the thing where we put out the

cookies and the milk for Santa. Uh, and Finn goes, we should put out some carrots for the reindeer as well. So we've left some

carrots for the reindeer this year. I sent a letter off to Santa so that he knows where we are this

year so that he can find us and have to do all that stuff. And then after we deal with that initial

whirlwind, then I get to start cooking.
