So a sad day today.

Sad day, a lot of going on today.

Sometimes we go to the podcast set, which is our chairs. And we sit down and we say, there's nothing going on today in the world. So we're just going to, we're just going to jaw for a little bit. No, but that doesn't feel like today. Today feels like there's a lot going on. We'll do our best to squeeze it all in. But there is a lot that's been happening out in the wider world. Number one is that, uh, beloved director, David Lynch has passed away at the age of 78.

He passed away yesterday.

He is famous for, of course, making the original Dune adaptation, uh, back in the 80s.

Yep.

Uh, but more so for blue velvet, wild at heart, twin peaks. I think of him. Yeah, that's, that's right. That was him. In the 80s, yep. But more so for blue velvet, wild at heart, twin peaks, probably his most.

Yeah, that's mostly what I, what I associate with him is definitely twin peaks.

An artistic director when film was becoming a commercial commodity. He held on, I think, as like an artist. And

when those people pass away, it's always sad. Yes, I very much think of him as an unusual,

like a surrealist, right? Like, he made a lot of surreal films. And like the kind of movies

that have a lot of subtlety, too, where they don't just throw at you, like what's happening.
