After the Friday episode this week, we'll take a couple days off.

Come back next Wednesday, July 5th, Canada Day here on Saturday.

Of course, everybody's got the long weekend, July 4th in the States. So we'll give

all of you who are maybe a little eager Monday, Tuesday morning and a holiday weekend to get

up and listen to the podcast, wait it out until Wednesday. Don't expect many people to be

joining us Monday and Tuesday morning. So we'll come back Wednesday morning and continue on

with the first thoughts previews. Today, we're looking at the San Francisco 49ers.

Recent news is that Brock Purdy, ahead of schedule in the rehab of his elbow injury,

he was throwing about 10 days ahead of schedule.

It has progressed even further since then.

There was an update to an article that came out yesterday that said he's continuing

to progress. This goes beyond just what Tom Pelliseros reporting for the NFL network.

Everything from insiders and people around the 49ers team. As it stands on June 27th, fully

expect Brock Purdy to be throwing in NFL week, number one, as the starting quarterback for the 49ers.

And there was a note from Kyle Shanahan that said he anticipates that is the case.

And if that is true, he would obviously be with the team throwing a lot sooner than coming

back on week one.
